Mind Over Matter

It is HOT here in the desert. When the forecast for the week looks like this: 101, 103, 102, 101, 100....you know you are in trouble... I'm usually ok UNTIL it reaches 100. High 90s, no problem. When it gets over 100 I start to get a little tired of the heat.

I found this picture of our one day of snow in 2009:

Ahhh..... crisp and cool. Can you see me in the middle of this, making a snow angel, in my shorts and tank top?

I feel better already!

I hear ya' about the heat. It's been in the mid 90's for most of the week and the humidity has been above 90% every day!

It's hot here to, in the SE. Not as hot as you, but hot for us. High 90's.
Funny, cause I do that in the summer too- post snow pictures. We don't get much of that either.

104 degrees in Oklahoma today. That snow looks great and I hate snow. That should tell you something.

I'm sweating for you! I can't complain about our 95 degree NC heat now - except that we have humidity, so well, our heat index can beat up on your heat index. Riiiiight. Don't you love when people say - "Yeah, it's 108, but at least it's a dry heat..."

What??? Because 'dry' heat is so much less dangerous???

Be cool.....

We were hitting the 100's while we were hauling hay. The humidity was thick and I was really wanting snow which is NOT like me at all!
