Bunny Monday

Hi Everyone.  Turbo here.  Mom missed Bunny Sunday yesterday, so I hijacked the computer.

I like to call this "The many faces of Turby".  Enjoy!

Enjoy your week everyone!
Love, Turbo

Wednesday Cowgirl Wisdom

Everything in life is a stepping stone.  Sometimes we might not be completely satisfied with where we are at, but we might as well be happy while we are there!

Bunny Sunday

Mornin' everyone!  Hope your week went well.

Recently I received a sweet surpirse in my mailbox all the way from Canada.  My friend Mandy, the creative force behind Bijou's Whimsy, sent me this awesome print of one of her colored pencil drawings (of course, the watermark doesn't appear on my print, I took this pic from her Etsy shop):
Mandy is a fellow animal (bunny) lover and knew that we had lost our beloved Patches and Nutmeg recently.  She sent me this print to cheer me up and wrote a little dedication on the back to them.  Thank you so much Mandy!  It now hangs above my work bench and provides me with inspiration and a beautiful reminder of my sweet bunnies everyday.

Check out more of Mandy's work in her Etsy shop.  Her style is uniquely hers and full of great energy.

Bunny Sunday

Wow, 2 Bunny Sundays into the New Year and that's all that I have posted -two Bunny Sundays.  I don't know where the time goes during the week or what I'm doing, but time sure does fly.

Who needs anything but bunnies, anyway???

Our bunnies have one of the Leith Petwerks condos to go in while we are not home (5 bunnies unsupervised in the house = lots of trouble).  If you've never been to their website, check it out here.  They have a lot of good bunny "stuff" aside from their condos.  (Ours have the 3 level condo).

I bought them a fleece dog crate liner to share and snuggle up in.  Can you believe I was able to get this picture?  SO CUTE!  I wanted to jump in the middle of them and take a nap.
Because they have been together since birth, they are used to and actually like being all bunched up together.  It must be comforting to them.

Oh man!  I can't believe they were ever this small.
What a special little bunch of bunnies.  We are so lucky to see this cuteness every day.  I'm glad I can share a little of it with you each week.

Happy Bunny Sunday!

Bunny Sunday

Another guest bunny post today.  While Wrigley and Tiger were here visiting over the holidays we took them out into the front courtyard for a little outside time.  I got this great series of pictures of Wrigley:

"Sure, I'll pose for some pictures for you, hold on a second."

"Hold on, I said!"

"There, this is my better side."

"You may pay me for my time with carrots. Thank you."

Bunny Divas everywhere around this house, I tell ya!  Wrigley gave Turbo a run for her money for the Bunny Supermodel title.

"I beg to differ."

Happy Bunny Sunday!

Bunny Sunday

According to the Chinese Zodiac, the Year of 2011 is the Year of the Rabbit.   It actually doesn't begin until February 3, 2011, but that's OK, we'll just pretend we don't know that. ;)

The Rabbit brings a year in which you can catch your breath and calm your nerves.
(Nutmeg and Patches always had the right idea)
It is a time for negotiation. Don't try to force issues, because if you do you will ultimately fail.

(Don't be like Bully trying to force her will on the 3 boys, Digger, Ginger and Sandie)
To gain the greatest benefits from this time, focus on home, family, diplomacy and security.
(Brothers and sisters sharing a meal)
Make it a goal to create a safe, peaceful lifestyle, so you will be able to calmly deal with any problem that may arise.
We all wish you a very Happy Year of the Bunny!

Happy New Year!

Here we are, another new year.  Amazing!  Where did the last one go?

This year, no resolutions, but I do plan to take some lessons from our dog, Snuffy (aka Cuji):

For example: take things in stride (see photo above), exercise daily, find joy in the simple things (Cuji really likes rocks), make friends easily and wag your tail when you meet someone new.  You know, we really can learn a lot from our dogs!

I'm starting right now.  I think a nap in the sun is in order.

Happy New Year!
