Bunny Sunday

A nice, lazy Bunny Sunday today.  I'm sitting out in the front courtyard typing this post, the sun is out, a slight cool breeze is blowing, the hummingbird's are feeding at my feeder, Boots is napping by the gate...  life is good.

Thinking of Nutty and Patches this morning. They loved to come out in the courtyard and explore.  I found these pics in the bunny archives.  I just happen to be sitting in this very chair:

I really miss this big bunny...
And this little brown bun (and that's Angel on the other side of the fence).  Miss them all so much!  Gone, but never forgotten...
We're bunny sitting this coming week for Wrigley and Tiger (who were last here at Christmas-time).  They are the cutest lop and Dutch couple.  I have a feeling they will be guest posting next Sunday....

Happy Bunny Sunday!

Awww, sweet pics. It's hard when they have left us behind.

I have so many memories of pets who are gone... and they are never forgotten. Yes, sometimes thinking of them is a bit sad, but usually remembering something good or silly makes me feel better. Here's one:
My brother had a bunny - maybe a Holland lop - he named her Bridgette, but Bridgette turned out to be a boy. Bridgette caused a car accident! Bridgette was out on our lawn. A guy came driving by, took a double take, and failed to negotiate the turn in the road!

Our hearts have no corners that are not filled with furry loved ones that have passed on. So glad you enjoyed a quiet moment in the sun yesterday to visit with these happy souls for a time.

The heart misses most what it has loved best. I too have been missing some buns lately.
