They were so sweet together, best buddies.
My artist friend, Sue Andre, drew a colored pencil drawing for me of them. It's an ACEO sized little work of art that sits on my easel at my work bench. I LOVE this.
Sue offers this drawing of Nutty and Patchy in her Etsy shop as a notecard. She also has lots of other bunnies, including her very own bunny, Clovis. Check out her shop, I know you'll find something you MUST have!
In fact, I'm going to do a little giveaway for 3 of her notecards (this one of Nutmeg/Patches and 2 others of your choice). Just go to Sue's Etsy shop and choose the 2 others you would like to have and leave me a comment. I'll pick a winner on Wednesday, March 16th and have those cards send to you. Easy as that...
Happy Bunny Sunday everyone!

I think the card of Nutmeg and Patches is the prettiest of them all.
The card with Webster, the cat, is cute too. Such a typical, silly cat pose.
The checkered giants are beautiful. I've never seen them. I stopped by the bunny show at the state fair a year or two ago, but I guess I didn't pay close enough attention...or maybe there were no checkered giants being shown.
Sorry you are missing your babies. This morning I was missing my Netta greyhound who passed and even posted a few pics of her to my blog. It's hard when they are gone. I know...
Anyway...I really like your "bunny love" picture and the Easter Egg one. Your friend is very talented...
Oh what a dear friend to create such a wonderful memory for you! I believe once our pets are gone their energy that was left behind visits us from time to time...I have days that my heart aches for just one touch of my face to their neck...
Of course Patches and Nutmeg, but I also liked Leo's chickens and the Easter Rabbit. Love your Sunday bunny posts.

Bridget! Thank you! Very nice of you to do this...Sue
I like Bunny Love (Nutmeg & Patches) and Blue Bunny - they are all adorable.
So sweet, best friends. I would love to have Patches and Nutmeg too! I would adore Blue Bunny and Webster as well.
I can understand how those 2 would have had your heart.
Luv the drawing she did, great work.
What a sweet , thoughtful thing for Sue to do for you! She is a fantastic artist. They were a beautiful pair and I can't imagine how much you miss them, though I miss my kitty every day and he died 9 years ago as of tomorrow (Ides of March. Very Shakespearean kitty). I love the one of Nutmeg and Patches, I also love Rabbidor Dali, and the Checkered Giants. So nice of you do do a giveaway! I always loved the one of holding a bunny on his back all splayed out, but I guess that one sold out. Good for Sue.
What a beautiful gift from Sue. Sending hugs for your heart for Nutmeg and Patches. I know your sadness. Been missing Razzy too.
xx, shell
Such beauty and comfort they portray! I'm sure you miss them terribly.
I hope I'm not too late for the drawing, I would love Blue Bunny and My Bunny Valentine if I win!
