12 to 70

Degrees, that is.  Last Thursday morning: 12.  This week: 70.  Now that's what I'm talking about!

Time to get out and ride:
Piper is becoming a solid little trail horse.  I have bigger plans for her, but for now, I am pretty happy with this.
She doesn't spook easily and she is developing her confidence.  She is starting to learn that she can pick up the pace so I'm not constantly asking her.
I remember the first time we ever went by this rock outcropping - she was sure it was going to eat her!
Snuffy (aka Cuji) goes along on our rides with us and usually takes the lead.
Lee on our big guy, Chini.
Not missing those freezing temps ONE LITTLE BIT.  So thankful for the warmer weather and being able to get out for a nice ride in the sunshine.

Lucky you! It is still only 14 up here, I think 70 is a long ways away.

You guys look great! She really is coming along so nicely. Great day for a ride. I wave at you from a bit further north, doing the same thing :)

Totally envious. Of the weather & the riding, both. Piper looks like a beauty with a great disposition. I wonder if it helps having Snuffy along to keep her company on the scary trail. Handsome fella you've got there too. *smile*

I love riding my horses in wonderful weather like this too! :) Lately it's been raining here in Alabama, but yesterday it let up so I could ride! :) {Even though it was still a little cold!}
Enjoying checking out your blog! :)

Could you send some of that 70 our way? Whaddaya say we split it? I can't complain though, it hasn't snowed in a week!

Wow. Looks like Piper has really come a long way. And Snuffy, well, I saw that dark shadow leading your horse and I thought for a second it was Angel.

That looks so fun, wish we didnt have snow up to our eyeballs here so we could ride out, but at least we managed to make it above freezing today.

Is it near your home? or do you have to trailer the horses to your home. Looks like a great day of enjoyment. We still have at least 1 1/2 at least of snow on the ground. It will be a long time before it's all melting.
