I "borrowed" this little game from my friend Marj, who blogged about it today. It cracked me up, so I wanted to share and see what everyone comes up with.
Take the name of your first pet(insert your answer here)
Add the name of the road or street you grew up on (insert your answer here)
If you are a woman this would be your stage name. If you're a guy, this is your drag queen name (never know when you might need it!)
Mine is Speedy Jane! Speedy was my first hamster. Such a cute (and yes, speedy) little guy. He was a tan color. And he used to get out of his cage and cruise around the house. AND he sunk his teeth into my finger once and I still (35+ years later) have a scar.
So, there ya go. Leave a comment with your name so we can all get a laugh!

Howdy...I'm Penny River! How funny...that's about how much money we have...pennies~
This one you will not believe...Maybelle Bowers. Maybelle was a Pekingnese...have no idea where the name came from. Cute post.
I didnt grow up anywhere. We were military. My first pet was a Boston Terrier named Rex. The street we lived on when I was born was Juniper. Not much of a ring: Rex Juniper.
Mine sounds more like a stripper, than a stage name! "Misty Oak Glen"
My American Eskimo dog was named Misty, and I grew up on Oak Glen rd!
Cute game....I like it. :)
My name is Lucky Whitewood or Lucky Lancaster - depending on where you consider I grew up.
Wow! I have a set of scars on my finger from my brother's hamster. He bit me and wouldn't let go until we put him under the faucet! (He did live...but I never touched him again!)
Fun post!
I guess "stage name" is the PG version. I've heard different ;)
Mine is Hugo Marilynn. What a terrible name!!! I guess it's really Jenny Marilynn but I don't have actual memories of Jenny. I consider her my mom's cat before I was born. Hugo was really MY first cat. I loved him but doesn't make for a great stage name!
Hi Bridget,
Lisa W. here, Marj's friend from Michigan. Hows "Coco Albain". Is Marj great or what. She is not only creative with her hands, her mind too. Or maybee its the snow...lol.
Take care:)
How about Smokey Waikiki? I had a black and grey cat named Smokey and we lived on Waikiki Ave...but not in Hawaii...darn!
hummm, mine would be Stormy Maple Ridge....
Dandy 126. It sounds like a drink order, doesn't it? Or a stripper in a Sci Fi movie. I don't actually remember the street name I grew up on, but it was definitely a number.
Dandy was my canary and I named him that because he was...well...dandy, of course. *snort*
Such an old game ha ha...mine would be Mushy O'Brian. Ha ha...Mushy was my very first white cat that I can remember having:D
Demetriaus Morocco here...just spreadin' the the fun. Demetriaus was my duck and Morocco Rd in MI. Thanks Speedy for keepin the fun going!
OK...My Man wanted to play to...he's:
Cowboy M
Those Missouri people don't know how to name roads...all they can come up with are letters...*roll of the eyes*
Love occasionally reading your blog. Thinking of you in this chilly weather.
Pebbles Waterman
Haha, I'm going to go aristocrat on y'all: Nicki von Daller ... ;-) I grew up in Germany, and my first pet was a little dachshund named Nicki.
Tiger McCully.... Tiger, my first kitty, was such a good sport, would let me dress him up in ChattyBaby doll clothes and push him around in a dolly buggy and sleep with me and 20 stuffed animals everynite.
