Cowgirl Relections on a Saturday Afternoon...

How true! Growing up in Michigan, I did not have horses, goats, chickens or bunnies. In fact, the only pet I had as a kid was a dog. As I got older, it became my dream to one day have a little ranch with LOTS of animals. I always wanted "one of everything". I'm not quite there, but we've got our hands full with the animals we do have and love every minute of it.

From Michigan small town girl to Arizona cowgirl. The Wild West, who'da thought it???

Isn't it wonderful when all our dreams fall into place?

Livin' your dream...that's what it's all about. Actually I'm living my dream too, in a sense. I always wanted a big family....and by George, I got one!!!! I just need the space for 'em all now. And who knows maybe even some space for a bunny or two.

How wonderful to end up an Arizona cowgirl. I remember my first trip to Arizona. I felt like I had come home. The desert called to me. I love the cactus and the animal life that thrives despite the sometimes harsh conditions. Lucky cowgirl!

Funny how that happens! I grew up in suburbia. Now I live in a rural area on a dirt road and live in my cowboy boots!!! And I wouldn't trade it for the world.
