Cowgirl Greetings and a Giveaway

As much as I love e-mail and blogging, I do have a thing for putting pen to paper. When I was a kid, I had a dozen penpals and couldn't wait to go to the mailbox and see if there was a letter from someone. Better yet, a card!

When I go to a gift shop, I'm always drawn to the card section, looking for cards with great cowgirl or western images. I always have a stash on hand for different occasions. Sometimes I love the pics so much I just keep them for myself!

Recently I came across a company called Shadow West and it's owner, Ed Delegato. He was kind enough to send me some samples of their products. The images are right up my alley ~ cowgirls and horses (among others) and have great inspiring messages.

They also carry art prints, magnets, bookmarks and stationary. This framed print of two little cowgirls is really cute. "The Only Way to Have a Friend is to Be One"

I love when I come across cool finds on other blogs, so I thought I'd share with you on mine. So, here's the deal. Add a comment to this post and you'll be entered to receive a 4-pack of cards (shown in the first pic) OR a 4-pack of cards and the cute framed pic (shown in the last 2 pics) Just for being my blog buddies (okay, maybe I'm feeling a little sappy today...)
I'll pick the winner this Sunday, May 31st and mail the prizes out to the winners on Monday. (Just make sure I have a way to contact you for your address).

I always look for beautiful cards, too, usually of New Mexico scenes. It's just a teensy bit mean, but I love to send them to my East Coast friends in the middle of winter, give them a look at our tooth-rattlingly blue skies.

Love your web site, cowgirl.

Those cards are fantastic! I love western/cowgirl cards.
I remember back in the days, having penpals too. The best part of my day was going to the mailbox! I am still friends with a couple of them, after 20+ years!

I do the same thing when it comes to cards and most of the time I keep them or frame them! Great Idea!

Hello! Those are really neat cards and you don't see that many good ones around here anyway! What a fun give-a-way! Hopefully maybe sometime soon I can buy one of your bracelets! I haven't forgotten....just have a couple trips planned so I'm tight right now. I definitely want one with turquoise....that's about all I know and I'll keep stopping in to see what's new! These cards are great! Unfortunately, where I live they are hard to find with horses or ranch living on them. Can really only find them at the tack shop, which is 45 minutes away. Thanks for the chance!

Penpals! I LOVED having penpals and would race my Dad to the mailbox each day. I STILL love to go to the mailbox. I think that is why blogging works for so many of us. Dairy's and penpals, I'm in.

I have a shoebox filled with blank cards - bought for me! and every now and again I will select one to be used on a special occasion (I give it to my mum or fiance and they write a greeting in it for me!) and I can then keep it forever.

When I was a youngster (hmmm, how long ago was that?) I used to watch all the Clint Eastwood cowboy movies - he is my hero!

these cards are very nice!

Was gonna comment on your last post, but I thought you might get tired of my sappy comments about how much I love bunnies !

Great cards! I always am looking to stock up on this sort of thing. There isn't a lot to choose from where we live, so when I find something I buy it!

Oh fun, I have like NO horsey cards, and definitely could use some! I used to have a ton of pen pals, too!! Horsey ones, of course. We exchanged "friendship books" and "slambooks." Remember those?? :) I still have one pen pal that I'm Facebook friends with, and she still has the horse she had when we were pen pals (we started at age 14, I am not 38!)

I'm having a cowgirl giveaway on my blog too, stop on by!!
