Bunny Sunday

Looking back at my "Silent Sunday" posts, seems like a lot of them have been of the bunnies, so I'm changing my Sunday posts to "Bunny Sundays"! They are always popular...who doesn't love a cute cuddly bunny?

Sometimes we let Patches and Nutmeg run around in the garden. Patches found the strawberries and jumped right in. Bunnies LOVE strawberries, and they love the plants, too.
After roaming around the garden for awhile, it's time to find a nice cool place to rest.Nutmeg is the little explorer. And hole digger. I can hear her wheels turning, "How do I get behind that fencing???"

Where are the carrots? Cilantro? Parsley? Oregano?

I have to admit, a large part of my garden is dedicated to growing things just for the bunnies. They prefer their veggies to be organic, thank you very much.

I owe thanks to a bunny for saving my life when I was a child suffering from homesickness at summer camp. I got so depressed being away from home that I became "paralyzed." The camp nurse tried to get me out of bed for two days, but I couldn't stand. I just kept telling her to call my mother to come and get me. Instead, she brought a bunny to me, set it on my chest, and slowly I began moving my legs. Then my mother walked in, but I didn't want to leave, because I loved that bunny so much. What was odd about the whole event was that I learned years later that on the very day when I stopped walking, a camp bus rolled down an embankment and several campers were killed or paralyzed. I think I was suffering sympathy pains, even though I didn't know about the accident at the time.

I love these pictures. Your bunnies look like they own the garden and YOU just work there. Ha Ha. What a pretty sight they make. Is it okay if I highjack one of these pictures for my computer background this week?
