Cowgirl Quotes

I was in Tombstone the other day (and forgot to bring my camera!). I stopped in to a little general store that carries all kinds of cowgirl/cowboy goodies. I found this cowgirl trivial pursuit type of game...the cards all have cowgirl pics and quotes on the front and trivia questions on the back. I really only bought them for the pics and quotes! I'll be sharing them with you from time to time...I couldn't agree with this one more! I like a clean house as much as the next person, but I'll take cleaning stalls and working in the garden over mopping floors and dusting anyday! I love this time of year, the days are warmer and getting longer and I usually don't come inside in the evenings until it is dark. And when it's dark, you really can't see dirty floors and dusty furniture...

I could live by this quote. Can't wait to see the rest of them.

I love that motto, that's what I live by as well. I just told someone this week, I'm always at the barn so can't clean and cook.
I way much prefer doing activities outside and keeping it tidy for my boys.

I'm the same way! My mom knows not to call me 'till after dark during the Spring/Summer 'cause I'm always outside working! Unfortunately, my house bears the brunt of my outside work and gets a little neglected. But it's better to have the outside looking good this time of year than the inside...right? ;)

I totally agree with you! My house seems to fall apart in the spring and summer and I don't care!!!!! I'd rather be outside doing yardwork, which I despise, than cleaning the house!

Right on girlfriend, you've got it! Fortunately my husband doesn't mind either....wouldn't really matter if he did! LOL!

I have that game too ! Isn't it the neatest thing ! I will be putting some of the quotes on Cowgirl Style, or had planned to, but will try to work around yours, great minds think alike, and all that.
I plan to have my sisters and a couple of friends over for a "cowgirl" party to play the game, complete with cowgirly party favors, chips, salsa, and mug cakes. Wish you could come over too!
Spring is FINALLY here, so I'm outside with ya! Sometimes I think the pioneer gals had it right with dirt floors. It is something you would think I was trying for after the dogs have tracked in and out a few times.

Great post, love the quote! I too would rather be outside, but today it's raining so I'm inside. :-(

Great strategy! Stay outside long enough and it will be too dark to see the dirt! And with summertime coming (or already here in the southwest) we get to stay out even longer. I just don't like all the grasshoppers invading right now, but I'm sure the birds are lovin' it.
