Double trouble...

Daisy loves to sit by the sliding glass door and look at her reflection.  Sometimes I wonder if she thinks it is another bunny?  We have been talking lately about contacting one of the local rescues to see if we can find her a buddy.  We haven't had much luck getting the other buns to let her into their club.  They are fine through the bunny fence, but so far no one is very nice to her when we've tried to get them out together.  :(  I know she would love to have someone to snuggle up with, so hopefully we can find her a buddy soon.  We just had her spayed a few weeks ago, which is what we were waiting on, so now we're all set. 

I think a little speed dating is in order for Ms. Daisy very soon.  Stay tuned!

Bunny Monday

I tried and tried yesterday to post a very cute video of the bunnies, but no luck.  Our internet connection out here in the "sticks" leaves a lot to be desired.  Oh well, maybe another time.

On another more exciting note, Daisy has a new friend! 

OK, just kidding.  This is pretty cute though, don't you think? But, seriously...check this out:

Daisy and Turbo have been hanging out together along the pen that separates them from each other.  Sometimes Turbo will even try to groom Daisy through the fence.  It's very sweet.  I know Daisy really wants to make friends, so we have been getting them out together a little bit lately.  They let me snuggle them together like this with no problems this morning. 

They even ran around and played a little bit, although it started to get a tad rough (Turbo nipping Daisy in the butt) and we had to finally separate them.  But, it was progress and I think eventually they might become good friends.  It's been making me sad to see Daisy by herself with no one to love, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Rottweiler Wednesday

Boots has been very busy lately entertaining all of her many friends that come by for visits and sleep overs. 

For the last month, Freckles has been staying with us while her mom is out of town.  She's an older girl and doesn't like to play as much as Boots would like, but she is good company for Boots.

And then we've had a new visitor lately, a little guy named Zayn.  He's been back a few times now and Boots just loves him.  She's about 4 times his size, but they play very well together... she just makes sure to get on the floor to play at his level.

And when Inca comes, they all get in on the action...

And then all crash out together.  :)

We have a revolving dog door around this place.  And we wouldn't have it any other way!

Bunny Sunday

We're BAAACCCKKKK!  We've been really busy, sorry for skipping out on Bunny Sunday the last few weeks.  Among other things on our busy schedule, we've been helping mom rearrange her studio so she can be more productive, work more efficiently and make more money for (what else?) lots of treats for us!

You know we have to give our stamp of approval on any furniture rearranging in the house...and then go around "chinning" everything to be sure it has our scent.... Moving things around without bunny approval is just unacceptable.

"I second the approval."

Now get back to work mom!
