Bunny Sunday

There's a new bun in town.  Meet Daisy!
I stopped at a garage sale yesterday morning on a whim...and came home with a bunny.  Seriously.  There sat Daisy, in the Arizona heat, in a very small cage with a FREE sign on it.  I snatched her up without a second thought.  Ugh, people.  :(

Her "owners" gave me the all too common story:  "We bought this bunny for our daughter 3 months ago and now she has lost interest.  We're gone all day at work and the bunny just sits in the cage with no attention."  Ugh again.
Little Miss Daisy is about 4 months old and weighs a mere 2.5 lbs. She is just as sweet as can be, loves attention and even likes to be held.  The other five buns aren't too sure about the newcomer, but I'm hoping they will come around eventually.  For now, she has her own place and is making herself very comfortable!
If anyone knows what her coloring is called, I'm curious.  She has somewhat of a calico coloring (brown/tan, grayish black) on her back and ears, but then the black spotting on her face.  No matter what it is, she is just adorable!

Happy Bunny Sunday :)

Some people deserve a firm swat upside the head, that's all I'm sayin'.

As for Daisy, she is absolutely gorgeous, and a thousand-and-one blessings on you for giving her a proper home.

How fortunate that you visited the garage sale that day! She's absolutely lovely and deserving of her fabulous new home. I'm actually glad they weren't trying to make money off of her and that you were able to take her home, like a gift. So pretty and she sounds sweet.

She is a knockout...and just a baby. And I'm sure the people who "bought" the bunny think they are just good folks trying their best. The world is full of foolish humans harming all the world...who think they are "just fine". Help.

Thank you so much for taking Daisy...she is exquisite. Thank you thank you...and give Daisy a good grooming from me...please.

Hi there,

I second Christina's comments. People are so stupid when it comes to animals. I'm so glad you have Miss Daisy. She is adorable! I've never seen a bunny with markings like that. I hope the rest of the pack accepts her soon.

Bridget, that sweet baby is soooooo lucky that you came along! She is adorable and is now in the best home in the world. Good for you--and good for HER! Thanks, Bridget, for having such a good heart. And shame, shame on heartless people who treat animals like trash.

Glad I'm not the only one who ends up other people's 'unwanted" rabbits... and there's alway a pathetic excuse to go with the bunny.
Are your rabbits "fixed" ? Related? They seem to get along in the photos....

What a little beauty. She's a lucky girl to have found you.

As my Mom always says, "The world is full of idiots!"
