Happy Friday

Thanks to everyone who entered my spring giveaway. I really enjoyed reading your comments on your favorite things about spring and could almost smell the fresh mowed grass (and lilacs!) and see the daffodils and tulips popping up. Soon my friends, soon.

One of my other favorite things about spring is that our baby desert tortoises come out of hibernation. (These pics are from last year. They are still holed up in their den, but hopefully next month they will start coming out). They also love spring flowers -- especially petunias. Tasty!
Oh! I guess I should tell you the winner of the earrings. I used Random Number Generator to pick the winner and it came up with #24. Jennifer, you win! Your earrings are packaged and ready to go. I sent you an e-mail, please send me your address and they will be on their way to you.
Have a great Friday everyone.

I've never seen baby tort..turtles (couldn't remember how to spell the other word)
They are adorable, and the size of full grown turtles that I'm used to. So how big do the grown ups get?

Lucky you to have such beautiful tortoises! They are a protected species here in Nevada.

I have never seen that many turtles in one spot except at the zoo. They aren't like ours.

Congrats to Jennifer, you lucky devil, you!

Darn I hate I missed the giveaway! I have not kept up with my blog reading lately.

The baby turtles are just too cute. We rarely see babies, here, especially more than one.

Frogs are a different story. I will have to try and get some pictures of the hundreds that will be at the spring later in the month. If they weren't so tiny and adorable it may look like something from a horror movie!

Little turtles...oh so neat...I wish we got these little critters...once in awhile I see teeny weeny frogs hopping about the backyard but never any turtles like these, your lucky.
