I'm having a hard time this week trying to think of something to top my weekend piggy posts. That little porker was pretty darn popular!
I finally decided that it's not about popularity, anyway. I went outside this morning with camera in hand, looking for something blog worthy, and here were these two... "Hi mom! What's for breakfast?"
By the way, Valentine has been behaving herself much better lately. She has yet to tear down the new goat house, so that is a plus. Gerty has thankfully recovered from the dog attack back in February with no problems. Both are fat and happy as, well,.... pigs.
Life is good when you are a goat around this place (or any other animal for that matter).

Cute picture...our goats always let us know when it is breakfast time. We are waiting for 2 to kid...any day now.
I agree. It's not a popularity contest. That little piggy was pretty darned cute, but the four legged members of your family seem quite capable of hamming it up in front of the camera, too. (pun intended) *wink*
Aww! Goats are lovely. I used to go to a 'City Farm' when I was a kid and milk the goats on a Sunday Morning.
They had a proper raised holding pen so that wheelchair users could do the job and my favourite goat, 'Lovage' (named after the herb) used to enjoy being in the pen - she'd nod off to sleep while I was milking her! :).
LOl....very wonderful post with goats errr pigs...LOL wonderful!!
Well they are just too cute...begging for their B-fast!!!
LOL, they are adorable! Do you ever make goat cheese? Hubby and I love it! They look, well, giddy as goats...
"Life is good when you are a goat around this place(or any other animal for that matter). Ain't that the dang truth! I am glad Gerty is fine after that ordeal with the dogs, thank heavens.
The goats are cute too! I love the looks on their faces~
What a couple of cuties! They do seem to be waiting in anticipation for breakfast. Enjoyed the piggy bunches but love seeing pictures of all your furry and hairy kids.
When I first saw your post I thought it read "How do you top a pig roast" and I thought "my dear they ate the pig!". I re-read it and breathed a sigh of relief.
Judy ~ OH NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Never! :O
Hmmm love those faces. But tell those goats they have to work hard to beat those piggy pictures.
You're right about blogging not being a popularity contest. Besides, I don't think anything really tops critter pictures and stories!!
Your goats remind me of the ones I saw and posted about back in July. The did the same thing and were so cute!!
Missed your piggy post...guess the goats will have to do. Nice picture.
