Bunny Sunday

We're BAAACCCKKKK!  We've been really busy, sorry for skipping out on Bunny Sunday the last few weeks.  Among other things on our busy schedule, we've been helping mom rearrange her studio so she can be more productive, work more efficiently and make more money for (what else?) lots of treats for us!

You know we have to give our stamp of approval on any furniture rearranging in the house...and then go around "chinning" everything to be sure it has our scent.... Moving things around without bunny approval is just unacceptable.

"I approve of the new arrangement."

"I second the approval."

Now get back to work mom!

Bunny Sunday

I haven't posted any pics in awhile of all of the bunnies together, in one of their "feeding frenzy" shots.  This is one of my favorites:

I love how they just line up and are so cooperative with me when I'm trying to take pics!  Extra credit to the first person who can name them all.  :)  And no cheating - in order from left to right!

Bunny Sunday

I have been trying all afternoon to load another video of the bunnies, but it's just not happening today.  I love the internet, but my internet connection is another story somedays...

I had some good laughs over the comments to last week's Bunny Sunday pic (appropriately dubbed by one person as "Bunny Sled Team") .  There was a question about how I get them to line up by that.  I wish I could say I trained them to do it, but not so.  There is a hierarchy that these bunnies follow and this little sled team ritual is something they do all on their own.  First, Sandie lies down, then Digger, Ginger, Bully and Turbo.  9 times out of 10 it is in that order. 

And no one dares lie down until Sandie does first.  If they do, they get nipped in the butt and moved from the spot until the appropriate order is established.  So, there you have it - bunny clan dynamics 101.

Little Diggy-Do:

I picked up a portable baby playpen at the thrift store that made the perfect pen for them as babies.  We had it in our living room and used to spend more time watching these little guys than we did the TV! 

Ginger looking for a way to escape:

Napping baby bunnies (Digger, Turbo and Bully).  It was impossible not to pick them up and squeeze them, even when they were sleeping so peacefully! 

Big day tomorrow ~ party time!  I think a carrot cake is in order...

Bunny Sunday

We've been getting a lot of rain lately and it has been great for my garden.  A lot of the garden is dedicated to the "Bunny Salad Bar"... herbs and other fresh veggies to keep the bunnies happy.

I have a whole row of carrots for the bunnies (they even let me have a few every now and then).  This is what happens, though, when you don't thin out your carrots as they are starting to come up.

Luckily, the bunnies really don't care if the carrots come out deformed!  And they like the carrot tops as much, if not more, than the carrots themselves.
