Artisan crafted bronze findings and a little nugget of Courtland Plume (a gorgeous gemstone that is a mixture of turquoise, malachite, cobalt lapis, sugilite and chrysocolla).  You can view more details and photos in my Etsy shop.

In other exciting news, Piper comes home from her training tomorrow!!  Seems like she has been gone for 4 months, not 4 weeks.  I'll be continuing her training on my own and also getting a lesson from Colt once a week for at least the next few months to help me work through any rough spots.

I "heart" hearts

If you've ever taken a peek at my Etsy shop, you already know this. I use hearts of all kinds in my designs. I've always been drawn to hearts and what they represent -- love, friendship, loyalty.

So naturally, I also "heart" Valentines Day. What a fun holiday. You get to be a little silly and give cute heart shaped valentines, bake heart shaped cookies and candies and decorate with those little paper heart shaped doilies. And it's the perfect time to treat yourself with a little something.
